Clarks Summit, PA—Chris Hackett violates his own declaration of principles when it comes to paying his own taxes. The Scranton Times Tribune reported that Hackett owed nearly $17,000 in back taxes, and he waited to pay the bulk of the overdue taxes until after he secured his party’s nomination.

WASHINGTON— The Council of Prison Locals (CPL) of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) today announced its support of U.S. Rep. Chris Carney’s (D-Pa.) bid for re-election in Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District.

Clarks Summit, PA—Results from Tuesday's primary show an overwhelming support for Chris Carney, who received over 70,000 votes. By contrast, the GOP Primary generated 64,000 votes, far lower than Carney's total.
